A key factor for everyone involved with Quarter Spiral was to get a prototype/MVP working as fast as possible. We therefore build our product on a mix of solid technology that has proven it's fast turn-over rate and innovative solutions like AngularJS and Firebase to cut development time even further.
The project was build as a majorly distributed network of systems. It consists of apps dealing with backend tasks, graph operations to support our social relations between players, the frontend applications to manage games and finally systems to deliver game content to the players. All of that had to run on the major share of browsers, including older ones and had to work with HTML5 as well as Flash games.
